International Festival of Cinema and Collective Memory of Nador
The Marchica Lagoon Resort hosted the 8th edition of the International Festival of Cinema and Collective Memory of Nador, organised by the Centre of Collective Memory for Democracy and Peace, on 11 November 2019.
This cultural event, internationally renowned for its role in encouraging peace and tolerance between different nations, invited the Republic of Colombia to be its guest of honour.
The former president of Colombia, Juan Santos Manuel, was present and expressed his gratitude and pride at receiving such a tribute.
The gala dinner was held in the lobby of our hotel and featured traditional music and live saxophone music, something which surprised the guests!
Moroccan and international public figures and bloggers also attended the event and were stunned by the setting.
This event will lead to the organisation of other significant events in the region.
